Unger writes about his son's illness with candor and courage, and he does not shy away from discussing the difficult and painful aspects of their experience. I believe that this book can offer hope and support to others who are facing similar challenges. It is a moving and inspiring story of hope and resilience.

I loved the authenticity and bravery of the author to share some of the most intimate and vulnerable moments of this struggle to help others.

The energy and determination of Mark and Mary Ellen seem amazing, and then I realized that most parents are like that when their kids are up against a tough challenge. The energy just comes from somewhere within, and they can do what is needed for their children. That is something I loved about the book; how much the parents cared for both boys.

I want to read the book but I know it is going to take a lot of courage to do so. So, I’m just gathering that courage right now. Seeing all the reviews I really am not sure if I can go through it.

I would love the recommendations to be to as many health specialists around because they can learn one or two from the book along with the story told.

For me i think the author used that style because he was discussing a very crucial point about a a dangerous disease. I went along very well

Just a few minutes in, I was about to leave the book because it was a lot to take in. With the history of a family member dying with cancer, I don't think I can read the book
