Did you like the first book?

I enjoyed reading the book. I was first attracted by the fact that it told a unique story based on the Arthurian myth. Reading the book, I was impressed by how the author switched from present to past and back again.

I didn't realise it had a first book, This book is so great as a stand alone, and I would definitely read the first.

Well with how much I enjoyed this one, I'd definitely be open to reading more books from the author. It's a part of a series? No problem. Bring them all on; must read!

Honestly, this book wasn't for me. I thought I would enjoy it more since I do enjoy the Arthurian lore (on a surface level), but I found it hard to follow at some points since I am not super knowledgeable about the locations and got lost in a lot of the parts.

But I would still recommend this to people who know the lore and like a "diary" style of writing.

I just finished reading Nimue, I was not aware of the books prior. This one did not make me feel like there was any disconnect.

I didn't have an idea that there's a first part of this book, but knowing this now I will love to read it too.

I didn't know there was a first book. Thank you for the info. I prefer to read books in chronological order, even if they could stand alone on their own.

The other books in this series also seem interesting and worth reading. The good thing about this series is the books can be read together or as standalones.
