Did you like the first book?

I read this book without any idea of the plot and I realized there was one book before this one, even though there's no need to read them in order, I wonder if it's as good as this one.

I didn't even know there was a first book. What is it called? I like this one a lot, I might give it a shot.

I knew that there was a series of what I'd call "connected books" and that they could be read as stand-alone novels, so I didn't search them in-depth. I'm curious to know other people's opinions, especially in comparison with Nimue.
Ciao :)

I had absolutely no idea that there was a previous book! I normally always read series books in order. I feel a little cheated now. :lol2:

I’m as surprised as you. I usually don’t like to eat books in a series out of order. But in this case I guess it didn’t matter since I couldn’t tell.

I had no idea up until this point that there was a book before this one. Since I couldn't make it out while reading the book, it's safe to presume that this could be read as a standalone.

I saw that there were more books in the series based on the description. I wasn't sure where this book landed though. I'd be curious to know those that have read it, what they thought!

I am not aware of that there is a first book. I will try to get it too so that I can understand the whole story.

I’m surprised this is actually a book in the series. It definitely doesn’t feel like one, and can obviously be read as a stand alone. I’ll make an attempt to purchase the first book though.

This book could definitely be read as a stand alone boom but it would be good to read the first book to understand the story as a whole.

In haven't read any other book in the series. But then I think I would be open to read them all things being equal. The author did pretty well with this one and I hope that would be sustained in the other series, if not even better.

I haven't read the first book. But if I do have the chance and time, I would read the other books in this series.

Moving further into this book, I'll definitely be reading the first book and more works from this author.
