This book definitely felt like more than just a thriller. In fact, I would say that it didn’t really move like a thriller. The books takes its time and delves into the subjects of race, justice, and the connection of all people through suffering and compassion. I would say it would also more detail-oriented than most thrillers, and it took its time telling the story.
