I think the book goes beyond being a legal thriller.it also explores elements like ethical dilemmas, moral complexities within the legal system, and the psychological depth of the characters. The book touches on broader societal issues and human nature, adding layers to the story beyond its thrilling aspects.

Beyond only providing surface-level excitement, the novel prompts consideration of more profound moral and societal issues.

This book definitely felt like more than just a thriller. In fact, I would say that it didn’t really move like a thriller. The books takes its time and delves into the subjects of race, justice, and the connection of all people through suffering and compassion. I would say it would also more detail-oriented than most thrillers, and it took its time telling the story.

The narrative delves beyond the surface of a typical novel, incorporating some aspects of philosophy. The book offers an in-depth exploration of the justice system also.
