OBC YouTube page

Did you guys know that since the start of the song of the day, Online Book Club now has a YouTube page?!? You can get the full playlist for the SOTD videos. It's pretty cool.

And I was thinking that someone should start making a video every month to go along with the book of the month section.
Or video reviews. Something like that.
@Scott would be the obvious choice to have as MC, but I guess anyone else would be able to do it as well.
Not me though. Obviously not me. Maybe Scott.

Or any other ideas for what we should do for YouTube?

My brother went to school for film making, so he knows how to edit and such. He even made an actual movie when he was in high school that I starred in (I was horrible). But there is a possiblity that I could con him into helping.

I have a teenager who is a budding YouTuber (is that how you spell it?) and she may have some good ideas. She should since she spends every minute not spent doing gymnastics watching or creating for YouTube. Maybe we could have a YA book of the month too and draw some additional younger folks. They eat that YouTube stuff up.

Wow, good for her! My roommate and I are always talking about how we could get famous on youtube, but our only ideas so far have been pretty crappy... Like "Drunk Dorm Room" where we just get drunk and try to write essays/do homework!

You could come up with a reading challenge that viewers can follow along with and make a video for each book. This can also give people a place to discuss the books.

I am a professional actress so if you want something acted out I'm sure I can scrounge up friends from the biz to do something... probably not every month as our schedules are rather hectic with other filming projects, but perhaps a couple times a year or so.
