Trouble adding a book to my shelves

I was trying to add a book to my currently reading shelf and I kept getting an error saying I must be logged in. I was logged in, but the site keeps logging me out for some reason. So, I logged in again and tried again. Same thing happened. I tried several more times, then tried clearing cookies for the site on my computer, but that didn't work either. I've never had this problem before.

Please help!

I have this problem occasionally, especially if I open another page on the site

@truebookaddict I'm sorry about that. Thank you for letting me know. I'm not sure what's causing the error. Are you using your 'back' button at all?

Is this still occuring when you try to add books to your currently reading shelf?

Does it only happen when you try to add books to your currently reading shelf?

If it's not too much trouble, would you be able trying the following:

1-- Try adding the same book to a different shelf.

2-- Try adding a different book to your currently reading shelf.

3-- Try adding a different book to a different shelf.

Let me know which of those works or which re-creates the error.

I think the problem was that I was searching it and trying to add it that way. Once I did it by clicking "add a book" and putting in the title and author, I was able to add it that way. Sorry for all the fuss. I'll remember this next time.
