No bonus entry for review comment for today's BOTD?

Post by va2016 »

I found that there's no bonus entry for commenting
on the review for today's BOTD 'Superhighway' by
Alex Fayman.

Is it just me or anyone else seeing the same?

If the entry is missing, can this please be added?
Thanks.

Va2016, I don't think it is a mistake. Sometimes a book is featured as the BOTD even if there is no OBC review. I did a search and there is no review on the site for this book at the moment.

Hmm, with LinkedIn entry also missing at this point, then how come
people are earning 6 out of 7 points? The maximum at this point should
be 5 points...

Thanks for the clarification.

I am not sure how you would be able to know how many points other members have received for today's giveaway. Maybe you are looking at yesterday's figures?

Sorry about that. I just looked at the giveaway page and realized you can look at the bonus entries for each person for the current day's giveaway. I guess I've never looked at that page before. Anyway, I see Linkedin on the list of bonus entries so maybe it was added right before you looked at the other members' bonus entries?

LinkedIn is in the list of bonus entries, but as of the time i wrote, the book
was not yet available in Scott's LinkedIn page. So, there's no way people
could have commented there for the book....Anyways...

You can always contact Scott - maybe there is a glitch in the system? I don't belong to Linkedin so I didn't notice the book wasn't on his page earlier.

I suspect people are clicking on 'Yay I did it' without really commenting
in LinkedIn. This is something Scott needs to look and disqualify the
people who do this. Thanks.

They indeed will be disqualified, if they clicked on "Yay" without commenting. There is a link to the page now, Btw.
