100 word challange
I've noticed that a lot of members are using the short story forum to post incomplete stories to get feedback on a concept, or their writing generally. A topic where the word count is limited might encourage members to give feedback.
Does anyone else think this is a good idea?

You can open a thread on the forum for this.mary-annef wrote: ↑31 Jan 2020, 03:01 Hi Scott - what do you think about a new topic in the writing forum for 100-word challenges. We could perhaps have a weekly or monthly theme/word submitted by members. I've found this to be a great exercise. When you have to convey something in only (and exactly!) 100 words you are forced to think very carefully about your language usage. And I've often used ideas that have come from 100-word exercises in other work.
