Onlinebookclub Facebook Daily Giveaway

Post by Abacus »

Hi Scott,

I have been using Facebook for several months to do the daily giveaway, but have been warned that I must not post until I get a message asking me to agree to the rules of the group. So now it seems I must wait a year before being able to include Facebook in my postings.

Having come to social media at a late age, I find quite a few things about the various processes that are a mystery to me. Like the whole on-line marketing of books, so many buttons that I don't quite understand the consequences of pushing. It took me several days and several messages from Gali to understand the one year rule. This surprised me as Onlinebookclub clearly states it's rules and standards on so many things.

I still do not understand why Facebook is different to Linked-In, PInterest or Twitter, but I think it would be helpful if the one-year restriction was stated on the Daily Giveaway screens.

Regards,
Brenda (Olbc reviewer - Abacus)
