Hello,
So in regard to the short story contest (the theme being: The Self-Destructiveness of Vengeance and Hate), what exactly is the due date? I thought it was February 1st, if it's not, is there any possibility of extending it until then?
Thank you!

Yes, an email will be sent out once the winners are selected and the stories are published. The stories that are not selected to be published in the book will be published on a new short story forum.

Hey Scott! I was just wondering if you knew when the winners will be announced?

Tonight! I'm so excited! Even if I don't make it into the book, I'm really excited to buy a copy and read the stories that did make it! Pre-congratulations to all the winners and kudos to everyone who didn't make it but tried!

I sent out an email last night to the 10 or so writers whose stories will be published in the book. So if you didn't get an email yet then unfortunately you were not selected for that. I will be sending out an email to all those who entered tonight to confirm the results.
There were a lot of awesome stories that did not get selected because we had a lot of submissions from a lot of talented people. Also, the judging process is subjective.
