Hi there,Amanda Renz wrote: ↑07 Feb 2023, 16:29 I wrote my fourth review today. I spent over 2 hours pouring over just how I would write it, making sure the grammar was correct, and triple-checking EVERYTHING. Not an excuse, but I've had a few strokes, I know I make mistakes, so I purchased the full Grammarly to check my work. I am reading and writing reviews to try and be better and the I code a b instead of an I making the title bold instead of italics, I even reviewed the text. It's totally life, but I wish I could respond to the reviewer who took the time to read my review and acknowledge the mistake. I'll try and do better on the next one, but it is tough when you put so much effort in to blow it on one thing. That's all, I know it isn't possible, I just wish we could fix mistakes like that, or that we could pre-submit for peer-reviewing purposes. Thanks for this opportunity, it's making me push myself!
And thank you for the message. Rest assured, something similar has probably happened to all of us. To err is human, don't let it get into you too much. Do I understand you correctly; do you want to make a suggestion that editing the reviews after submitting them would be made possible?
Thank you, and wishing you a lovely day,

Hi,Amanda Renz wrote: ↑08 Feb 2023, 05:37 Well, I understand that editing after submission is not a feasible option. What I’m thinking is an optional volunteer peer review or 2nd set of eyes before officially submitting. Just a thought thanks for your reply!
Thank you for reaching out. Would it be possible for you to have a friend or family member read your review and give you feedback before you submit it? When I first started out, I found that having other people read my drafts before I submitted them to the editors helped me find errors I would not have otherwise.

My account has been banned for some mistakes I did in a review of the book, Kalayla.
I sincerely appeal to be added back to the review team and I give you my word that I will be extra careful in my choice of words next time.
Moreover, what if I open another account, can I use my same PayPal to receive payment?
I've learned from my mistake and I'm ready to work better with extreme caution.

Unfortunately, duplicate accounts are not permitted. Sorry for any disappointment this may have caused.

I completely understand you. I bolded an "a" with the rating in one of my reviews; I wanted to bash my head into the wall when I read the editor's comment. I guess we all need to practice, and it will get easier with time. Good luck!

these things happen. I've noticed that it helps to take a good break and then re-read the review. You notice different things with fresh set of eyes. However, do not be too hard on yourself. I hope your head is still in good condition

Thanks for your concern Kirsi. Thankfully my head is still intact. I hope it remains this way.Kirsi C wrote: ↑17 Feb 2023, 17:27Hi there,Omneya Shakeep wrote: ↑15 Feb 2023, 18:54Amanda Renz wrote: ↑07 Feb 2023, 16:29 I wrote my fourth review today.
