Publishing Contest 2017

Post by Amagine »

I was just hanging around on the forums like usual and I discovered something about a publishing contest that was done last year. It seemed like people were pretty excited about it so I'm guessing it must have went well. (I don't know of course because I wasn't a member last year)

Anyway, I was reading some posts from people that seemed excited to have one this year and kept asking when it was going to happen.

So... I think there should be another contest this year with the same rules. It would get all the writers pretty excited and all the readers involved as they read and vote for which piece of writing they liked the best.

I don't know if there already is one and I'm just a little behind on the events and contests that happens around here. If there isn't... what do you think? Can we have another publishing contest this year?

I just came across your post now and it was dated April yet and haven't seen any followup posts. I wonder why? Or I might have missed it. I am a newbie here so I'm still at the stage of familiarizing my way in the ins and outs of the forums. As to what you've mentioned/suggested, I think it's really a great idea and sounds exciting. It would encourage writers and upcoming writers to share their compositions. I hope this will push through though.
