Problem while redeeming BOTD giveaway prize

Hi,
I have received the $20 gift card for BOTD giveaway twice. However, while redeeming, that amount is added to Amazon.com account. Since I live outside US, and Amazon.in is in use in my country, I am not being able to use my gift card.
If I open my amazon account through Amazon.com,it shows the $20 balance, but when I am actually going to buy something that happens through Amazon.in and this balance is not applicable there.
Can anyone suggest any solution?

You can only use the gift cards on Amazon.com.
