I really love The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova this time of year. It’s a beautiful piece of historical fiction/thriller for anyone who loves a little spine-tingling, slow-building suspense.

I haven’t heard of The Historian, so thank you for the recommendation! Do you read it every year?

Not every year, but I’ve probably read it four or five times which is unusual for me.

That’s amazing! Rereading any books multiple times really shows how captivating those books are. Glad you found one that you enjoy so much!

I would recommend reading Dracula by Bram Stoker. This is for anyone who is looking to read a classic horror fiction for this month.

Thank you for the recommendation! It’s interesting because I’ve never read Dracula before, but have been curious. How spooky would you say it is?
