I don't think this book would make the same sense without the photographs that it includes. They look carefully chosen and made to provoke a reaction, they don't come with the book, they are part of the book (if it makes any sense to differentiate both options).

The title "Artwords" indicates that the book will contain some images. Visuals play a vital role in keeping readers interested and engaged. The images shown in this book are no exception. They enhance the reading experience and make it incredibly satisfying.

I loved all the photographs added to this book. Played very well along the poems. It brings your mind to the place where poem is.
Seams tacky but actually it was a great use of visual appeal.

I said something very similar on the art work thread. They added only a little, and at times made it difficult to read the poems. I did like the mustard/ketchup one though and liked the imagery.

I found them simply appealing. I like books with photographs in them because as a reader, I feel like I can better comprehend what the writer is saying.

I agree, often the pictures help to understand the point the author is trying to make. It takes away any doubt words might have.

I enjoyed having the photographs as much as the poems. Having images can enhance the experience and help us remember for a longer time.

Yes I liked them because each photograph had a direct link to the poem. My favourite photograph was the one on peanut butter. I enjoyed the teaser that came with it

I think generally speaking, using photographs in a book would improve the overall reading experience especially since it helps the reader relate to the book. I did enjoy the photographs in this book and found it rather more helpful since I could spend time looking at them trying to understand the poem.

The book contains calligrams, photographs, and redactive poetry, which are literary artworks created by the author. The photographs used in the book are mostly taken by the author herself, and they depict various scenes and objects that relate to the themes of the book. Some of the photographs are also used as backgrounds for the calligrams, which are words arranged in a shape or pattern. The redactive poetry is a form of writing that involves erasing or blacking out words from a text to create a new poem.

I did enjoy the pictures present, especially as they are instrumental in conveying the message. I got to read the ebook version, however, and I had a difficult time making out some words because of how small some of the text was. Otherwise, though, I liked the photos very much.

Yes, I did. The photographs are well-chosen and complement the text perfectly. They help to illustrate the concepts that are being discussed and make the book even more visually appealing.
