Did you think the art was thought-provoking?

I believe art has depth to it, no matter what kind it is. It only takes someone who appreciates it to search for meaning beyond what is visible; otherwise, it will be seen superficially.

Art can have many meanings beased on how you interpret it. Thats the beauty of art. It can mean one thing to a person, and completely different to another. To answer your question, I would say, yes some of the poems are definitely thought provoking. For instance, in the poem signs the poet emphasis that, sometimes, being lost can actually feel like home, which is a very wierd thing to say, but I do relate to it sometimes.

The art was indeed thought provoking. It teaches you to explore beyond your imagination, and although it might align with your thinking, it gestures you to see that there's a much bigger picture in front of you.

In my well considered opinion, the art was thought provoking is a calm and serene way. It does not jump at you but it is worth a second, third and fourth look.

I felt that some of the art was deep and meaningful while some was just simple. I liked that the calligrams made specific shapes and that most were obvious. The calligrams definitely added to the poem and artistry. The photographs felt really simple as they were just a jar of peanut butter or mustard and ketchup bottles. The photographs did make it obvious what the poem would be about.

Since any art can mean anything to anyone at any time, I think that it was. I can see the pieces differently on any given day and that makes me wonder if I will ever get close to really understanding what the artist was trying to convey.

I found it pleasing. I don't think it was thought provoking. I found it easy on my eyes. But because art is subjective, I think I would understand why others would find it so.

I think it was a great use of visual appeal. Not many books that I saw recently had it. I don't think that is provoking. I think that brings you to the place where the poem is.

Every art form, in my opinion, has the potential to provoke thought when you take the time to really consider and attempt to comprehend what the creator wanted to convey.

The art work was secondary to the poems for me, I didn’t feel like it subtracted from the book but also only added a limited amount. I also found the style of the art work combined with the format of the poems made it difficult to read at times.

My immediate straightforward answer is that yes I found the arts in the book thought provoking. However, I would try to understand the relationship with some poems and other times, I would use it for a distraction while pondering on the poems. I did find them thought provoking, at least most of them.

Every art definitely has something it portrays or meaning. The arts were thought-provoking and also appealing at the same time.

You write of the essence that fuels any piece of art. The artist of the piece in question is the only one who understands the thoughts and/or emotions that were present at the time of creation.
As I read this book, I found my mind being lulled deeper into the artists world by feelings that were generated by the pictures. As an example , the picture of the bathtub created a calm, easy and almost soothing aura to read the words in.
Even now, I am having great difficulty in separating the words written from the pictures created by those same words.

Yes, the art was thought provoking because it left one thinking about his or her mindset most especially when they thought something naughty about a poem only to find out its the complete opposite
