I loved perfect oair because it said so much about relationships. What I think the author intended to communicate is that there are just some people who are meant to be in a certain relationship and they are good for each other. There is no toxicity and everything works out great for them. But then the moment you bring a third party into that relationship, it breaks

Perfect Pair was one of my favorite poems in the book. I think the author was trying to convey that some things are just meant to go together. For this poem the two things that are meant to go together are ketchup and mustard 🙂
