When you wish it kind of gives you the mindset that it is over. However, hope counter that. While one hopes, he works hard to bring them to reality unlike wishing.

While wish and hope are distinct concepts, they can sometimes be used interchangeably, as they often blend together in our minds. In many cases, a wish can evolve into hope as we ponder and nurture the idea, gradually becoming more optimistic that it will manifest.
