Through this analysis, the author illustrates how individuals can leverage hope to drive motivation, foster resilience, and inspire action towards achieving personal and collective goals.

No! It was a revelation for me that "hope" is much more than wishful thinking or blind optimism (which I often thought it was!). I liked how Dr. Randy Ross reverse-engineered hope and distinguished it from both wishful thinking i.e. passively waiting for a miracle, and unjustified optimism, where efforts need to be redirected from a hopeless situation for a good result.

I did not know about the different sides of hope or about the differences between hope and optimism. I’ll be honest, after reading the first chapter, I came into this book a little skeptical, too, but the author definitely surprised me by the end and did not disappoint at all. His descriptions and comparisons were extremely helpful in understanding his points, so by the end of the book I did know the different sides of hope and the differences between hope and other words.

I must admit that I didn’t know the different sides of hope before reading the book. I am glad I read the book because I have added to my wealth of knowledge.

No, it was different. But after reading this book, I learned that hope is active, can be used to make things happen, and can be a source of strength and inspiration.

No, I had no idea that hope can be viewed from the perspective in the book. I thought hope was simply having positive thoughts towards the future. I had never thought about the fact that hope encompasses more than wishful thinking.

"I must say, before reading this book, I only had a vague understanding of the concept of hope. This book has taught me so much about what hope really means and how it can manifest in our lives. I believe that this book is a must-read for everyone."

I think even the true definition of hope I have come to understand it better after reading the book. I clearly never knew how to become hopeful. But after this I am now sure how to achieve true happinesses and become hopeful.

Prior to reading this book, I had a rather cynical view of hope, often confusing it with wishful thinking or associating it with religious dogma. However, this book has completely transformed my understanding of hope, revealing its complexity and multifaceted nature.

No I just had this idea that hopes means waiting and wishing, but it is more than that.
