I do agree that hope is the best strategy. If someone is living with a mindset of hopelessness, they are not likely to notice the positive things around them and won't believe that things can and will get better than how they are right now. When you look, you can usually find some silver linings or moments of joy amidst difficult situations, but fixating on the difficulties, particularly when they involve things that are out of your control does not help the situation or lead to a quicker, better outcome.

When someone embraces hope, they are more likely to channel their energy and efforts towards their goals, fueled by the belief that their endeavors can lead to success. This positive mindset not only influences one's attitude but also shapes their actions, fostering determination and resilience in the face of challenges. In essence, hope becomes a catalyst for personal growth, encouraging individuals to persevere, overcome obstacles, and pursue the aspirations that inspire them.

I can agree with the author that "hope is the best strategy" only if we understand it in the way that he describes (as a means to action and reach our goals). But in the everyday usage of the word "hope" (as a feeling) I would disagree. Since most people use the word "hope" in the later way it seems a bit misleading to say "hope is the best strategy". I believe that we should rather let people read this book, become familiar with the concept of hope, and then use that catchy phrase.

Hope is an important strategy that works hand in hand with work. You can have hope, be optimistic yet nothing happens so hope and work together is an important strategy.

While hope can be a powerful motivator and contribute to resilience, it's essential to acknowledge that a comprehensive approach may involve a combination of strategies. Proactive planning, strategic decision-making, and perseverance complement hope, ensuring a more robust foundation for achieving goals and overcoming challenges.

Hope is not the best strategy rather Hope with action or work is the best strategy. We can keep having hope and yet achieve nothing is work is not put into it.

Hope is a very good strategy. In times of sadness or strife, it's perhaps the only strategy. If we read this book and absorb some of the advice on how to get the best out of it, it could really help.

I definitely agree. "Hope is the best strategy" is definitely a thought-provoking statement. I think there is some truth to it. Having hope for the future can be a powerful motivator, providing us with the strength and determination to overcome challenges and achieve our goals. With hope, we can see beyond the present moment and imagine a better future, which can help us persevere through difficult times. So while it may not be the only strategy, I do think that hope can be a powerful one.
