For a woman who has recently been struggling with depression and anxiety, this book truly helped me to have a different perspective on life when things all around me are out of my control. Hope allowed me to wake up and start to love myself again. Self-love is my biggest downfall, although reading this did help me to re kindle the hope we have to be better in life.

I do not think that "Fireproof Happiness" by Dr. Ross gave me (or other readers perhaps) more hope. However, it did provide an analysis on the concept of hope which is useful, along with many examples that make this book worth reading. Overall, my conception of hope and how to analyze and self-reflect upon it has enhanced because of Dr. Ross. For that, I am thankful for reading it.

I understood many things about happiness and hope, but I won't say it gave me hope. Rather, I'll say that it helped me let go of doubt and embrace the hope that I already had.

I don't have a long answer for this, I don't know if the answer will make sense, but as someone who is struggling with Bipolar Disorder with depressive episodes hope is something that I have to scratch out of this mysterious thing called life.
This book did help me find balance and semblance between the negative and positive of life so I can see hope instead of trying to find it desperately.

This book definitely brought back my hope. Before I read it, I never saw hope as something that worked. I just thought that it was a waste of time, but this book changed my perspective.

Though I won't say it gave me hope, I did learn a lot about happiness and hope. Instead, I'll say that it assisted me in letting go of uncertainty and embracing the hope I already had.

Thank you so much Benny ! I completely agree with you there. The way Dr. Ross explains his theory in hope and how it helps to gain self awareness not only for yourself and others around truely stuck with me. For me this book really helped me to inspire myself to take the steps forward I need to regain my happiness. Coming from dealing with a recent burst of depression and anxiety this really helped me to allow my mind to focus on the strategies I need to put in place to find myself again

I wouldn't say this book particularly and solely did this, as I'm reading a lot of similar content, but it definitely did reinforce some of my transformative beliefs and changes. I did see it as a sign from the universe that I'm on the right path!!
