Do you celebrate a holiday or have special traditions? (Dec '23)

Do you celebrate a holiday or have special traditions that you and your loved ones do this month? Are there any traditions that you did as a child that either you've continued on or changed over the course of the years?

We celebrate Christmas here. I'm continually forming my family's traditions. I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old, so I'm still tweaking some things!

One of the traditions that I did start when my son was born is I wrap a total of 24 Christmas-based books, and my kids choose one per day to open during the month of December. I only do a few at a time, wrapped, to not overwhelm them (and replenishing throughout the month), but they both love unwrapping and love books, so this tradition works for us!
