To some extent, I can personally relate to the pressure imposed by family expectations, particularly when it comes to academic performance and pursuing a STEM education. The weight of parental expectations can be immense, driven by a desire to showcase their child as a shining example of success to extended family members. This pressure often stems from a need for parental control, leading to a lack of communication and an absence of encouragement for sharing one's feelings or aspirations.

I can relate to the expectations of family the most. It can be suffocating at times and it is always difficult to navigate.
