I actually like the title much more and I think if I was selecting to read it based on the title or cover, then the book cover would not have piqued my interest. There's nothing much in the cover and it looks like the typical normal covers.

I liked the cover of Sandpeople. It is the same portrait that Aunt Meg painted and presented to Lea at the end of the story. It highlighted the importance of how the relationship between Aunt Meg and Lea developed as Aunt Meg watched Lea transform from a sad and lonely child of divorce into a maturing woman who gained her confidence and independence. When Lea saw the portrait for the first time, she was amazed at how her aunt beautifully captured her transformation.

The warm, inviting color palette, awash in hues reminiscent of sun-drenched deserts and fading sunsets, instilled a sense of nostalgia and contemplation, hinting at a narrative richly woven with the threads of history and personal journeys.

Typically, I find myself drawn away from covers featuring human subjects, preferring the boundless possibilities offered by more abstract or symbolic imagery.

However, this particular cover defied my usual preferences, immediately capturing my attention with its understated elegance and soft, almost painterly execution.

Perhaps it was the masterful use of pastel tones, imbuing the image with a sense of gentle tranquility, or the overall aura of quietude that seemed to emanate from the cover itself, but I found myself utterly transfixed, unable to resist the allure of this enigmatic visual.

I like the fact that it is not a simple picture, the kind of blurry effect gives it a dream-like sensation. I interpret that maybe the girl on the cover is time-traveling.

I am not a muse.
I am the somebody."

I generally prefer book covers without real people's faces, but I'm quite fond of the color theme in this book. Everything else about it appeals to me as well.

I like the cover of the book, I think it was eye catchy and beautiful. The colour actual reminds me of the colour of sand.
