By dismissing someone's story or feelings, we risk driving them away and pushing them to seek understanding and validation elsewhere. Taking the time to listen attentively can foster trust and strengthen relationships, ultimately creating a more supportive and understanding community.

This book shows the importance of parents being mindful of their actions and how their decisions impact their children especially emotionally.

Personally I felt, it wasn't heavy on lesson learning. It's more of exploring ourselves in the journey, growing with the situation, finding the purpose.

I second that. I truly believe if you want to make ammends to your future, you must look into your past and analyse.

This book also highlights the importance of listening to children and young teens. It emphasizes that dismissing their claims without proper attention is a mistake.

I learned that adults shouldn't be in haste to dismiss an idea or thought just because it comes from a child or a person you're older. Over time, kids who never get listened to grow up into being timid and think their opinions are not worth sharing.

This book has taught me to always pay attention to children. That way, unnecessary events can be avoided. I equally learned that parents are humans too and equally have their struggles.
