Well for it is a 5 out of 5 star. The cast seems simple and readers can easily keep up with each of of them and their story. It will definitely appeal to fans of mystery genre

Kerr's writing style is engaging and easy to follow, making it perfect for middle-grade readers. What resonated with me most was Lea's authenticity and vulnerability, which makes her a lovable and inspiring protagonist.

I'd give this book 4 out of 5 stars. I enjoyed the mystery, setting, characters and premise. It was well thought out and Lea's character development was satisfactory. I docked it a star because of the author's writing style. I wished there was better spacing between scenes or the introduction of characters into a scene. It wasn't until halfway through the book, that I caught on to the author's sudden scene change without any paragraph spacing or indication. It left me a bit puzzled at times.

With the beautiful cover, intriguing storyline, and thrilling plot, the book was better than I experienced as it blends friendship and personal discovery themes. This book deserves a high rating.
