Yes, this book has things many people can relate to. Lea’s parents splitting up and her trying to understand it are relatable parts of the story. The folklore also adds suspense to the book.

I found the book particularly relatable, especially the parts that highlighted the struggles of young people feeling heard and understood by their parents. The author's portrayal of parents dismissing their children's concerns and failing to provide a listening ear.
