I believe divorce has a more negative impact on children than positive impacts. Divorce can make kids feel really sad and upset. It can be hard for them to understand why it's happening. Some kids might feel like it's their fault, even though it's not.

The extent to which divorce affects children can be influenced by various factors. It is crucial for parents and caregivers to provide emotional support, reassurance, and stability during this challenging time. Seeking professional guidance, such as family counseling, can also be beneficial in helping children navigate the emotional impact of divorce and support their overall well-being.

I think the effect of divorce in children varies but still prominent. It depends on so many factors and how they handle it generally. For example, while one child will take it just fine, others will likely sink into depression because of it.

Some children may wish for their parents' divorce to escape a tumultuous home environment and absolve themselves of blame, while others may experience distress and adverse effects. The author emphasizes the importance of diligent efforts to safeguard and support the mental and psychological well-being of children amidst their parents' separation.

Aside from the bullying they most likely face in school. Divorce affects the self-esteem of the kids. Some grow up blaming themselves for the divorce. Some grow up with rejection. There is a lot of emotional backlash on the kids.

When parents' divorce, it affects the children in so many ways. Some children think it is their fault their parents are separating. A divorce can affect a child's schoolwork, and they can become withdrawn socially.

If only the children aren't the cause of the divorce. It can affect them. And if there is a huge distance between the parents after divorce, that's when the children get affected more. But if close, they will do anything to protect their children. But still not agreeable to be married.

All this can be a lack of understanding. When the children are causing trouble, just be in tune with them. Understand them further before any necessary action can be taken. Children need guidance not to fight and compete with them.

The effects of divorce on children vary widely. Some children hope for their parents' divorce to escape conflict, believing it would bring comfort and absolve them of blame. Others experience the opposite reaction. Supporting a child's mental and psychological health during such times requires significant effort and care.

I think it can be tough, especially when you have to juggle between parents and adapt to a new family dynamic. Watching your parents move on can make things even harder. However, with time and the right support, everything becomes easier as you process the changes.

Divorce affects children to a much greater extent than we imagine. They question love and affection their whole lives.

Omneya Shakeep wrote: 11 Apr 2024, 16:09 It deeply affects the children's mentality and emotional stability. Undoubtedly, they will miss the role of one of the parents in balancing their lives. Even with both parents' efforts to maintain their connection, a deficiency in their lives is bound to happen. Not to mention the trust and commitment issues they develop growing up.
True. There is always some gap which remains empty.
