Although I would recommend this book to a young teen audience, probably female, I would like to say that I enjoyed it and I’m 60! It was a gentle read, easy to follow and Lea is in a position that many youngsters could identify with.

I would recommend this book to pre-teens and younger teenagers, especially if their parents are going through a divorce or they’re having any family difficulties. I can see why girls might enjoy this book more than boys but I think boys can enjoy it as well. This is also a great book for any kids who are facing the unknown and are afraid.
