I love the mystery genre, historical fiction, or stories about the inner journey of protagonists.

The SandPeople is engaging and enthralling, an impressive work of art with vibrant colors and realistic depth of field, the finest choice for a relaxing session than a full-time study.

While I did enjoy this book, it wasn't quite what I expected. I thought there was going to be more of a ghost story. I would have loved a little more interaction and backstory from the ghost.

I thought it was going to be a more action packed adventure novel. That’s not to say I was disappointed.. far from it, not every book has to be raw action and happenings all the way through. It was gentle and informative.

Yes, the book definitely met my expectations. The narration kept me glued till the end of the book. The plot, Lea’s journey, and the spooky elements of ancient folklore retained my interest in this story till the end.
