Looking at the cover without seeing the title of the book made it look boring to me. But the name SandPeople and the illustrative image of a lady who is at a beach and the color of the image; not too much, not dull, made me want to know more about the book. Hence I would say, the cover of the book is intriguing.

The book cover is really eye-catching. It looks like a lot of care went into making it look good, with nice illustrations and design. This makes the book stand out and makes you want to read it, suggesting the story inside is just as interesting and well-thought-out as the cover.

Now that I have read your comment I can’t stop seeing it! So true. Maybe we had an inspiration there?

I found the cover very interesting, definitely got my attention. I love how the “An across time mystery” is in a smaller font making the contrast with the title.

I think the cover is cute. I like the illustrated effect, and I believe it gives an idea of the story.

The colors used for the cover of this book are calming and evoke a feeling of being near the sea. The faded and shadowy aspects of the image work well for a book that involves mystery. Just from looking at the cover, I don't know that I would pick up this book and read it, but knowing more about the story would draw me in more.

This cover gives me a sense of nostalgic distance. I imagine the visual of distant sweet memories getting swiped away.

The cover won’t do justice to what the book entails. I think a better cover could be made that gives readers an idea of what to expect

This book seemed inviting and made me want to read it. I have not read it though. However, I can understand why people would pick this book because of this cover. Good job on it.

I think it was the best idea for cover like through the character of Lea, who might be wondering or not fully understanding what is exactly going on, we begin to forge an immediate link to the reader.

The cover of the book is quite attractive. In some ways it gave an insight on the plot of the book. It was an absolute match for the book.

I found the colours dull. But the image intrigued me. I think the cover is okay. It doesn't really match up to the quality of the book.

The fading on the cover of the book reminded me of the faded style and aging of books I remember my nan having. That in itself is probably not the effect the author was going for.

I thought the cover was pretty interesting. After reading the book though, I thought it would have been really cool if the cover was like the description of the painting her Aunt did of her.
