The impact of her parents' separation on her. Her desire to know the reasons for them not being together. This change in life, despite the different reasons, growing to adulthood, I can relate to it.
Life is hard on its own so let's make it easier for each other if we could.

Yes this book was very relatable to me. Especially my childhood, when I felt ignored by my parents and my opinion didn't matter .

Oh yes. Divorce is rampant so is the growth and emotional transformation of a young girl. Adventure present also intrigued me.

The themes of family stories, growing up, and dealing with unexpected life events like divorce resonate with me and with many other readers.

Yes. I once stayed with relatives who had real family issues including divorce. I had a clear picture of the numbness and pain as portrayed in this book. Lea was just like one of my cousins then.

Lea is going through such plot events to explore identity, fitting in, and managing the changing friendships—all the ordinary situations of adolescence. The main issues in her thoughts are her uncertainty and her intention to find a feeling of belonging like a lot of other young people.

I can't relate to the element of divorce because my parents are still together. However, I can relate to the idea of having to come to terms of something unexpected and learning to grow from it.This book has stories that are very relatable. Especially with regards to the family stories. Causing reminiscence of certain memories.
