I found this book mysterious and I wanted Lea to solve the mystery so I could find out what happened. I was interested in discovering what happened. I didn’t really find it suspenseful. I was pretty sure everyone and everything was going to be ok.

Yes, I did. There has been an upsurge in interest in the paranormal in recent years, so whereas before the question of actually seeing a ghost was thought to be an impossibility, now it somehow doesn't seem so absurd.

"Sand People" seems to capture attention with its subtle mystery and a little bit of suspense. The theme, most likely, is the process of discovery and adventure, instead of an emotionally charged, almost fatal type of rhythm.

The book definitely is mysterious. It keeps you reading to know more. You want to discover what happens to the characters and how the story will end.

There were definitely elements of mystery with the ghost and the sand people. I didn't find it overly suspenseful though. It felt a little predictable.

Yes, I think this book has enough elements to its plot to keep the story engaging and mysterious, especially the folklore and the ghosts associated with it.

I don't know if 'mysterious' the right word, but it was definitely suspenseful. It had a lot to look out for, and it was very engaging.

Maybe the book is so silent on the Sand People that you, the reader, will not learn about them completely. As a matter of fact, you will not be offered the information, but the clues and hints will be gradually dropped, which will keep you fully immersed in the suspense and will evoke a great feeling of staying until you get all the answers.

Although the main focus of the book is not a mystery, I think it certainly has its obvious and subtle mysterious elements. It keeps the reader engaged.

I find Sand people mysterious even from the title. The book is suspense-filled but it is not a bad thing. I pretty enjoy it that way.

"Sand People" captivates its audience with its understated mystery and a hint of suspense, focusing more on the journey of discovery and adventure rather than an emotionally charged, high-stakes narrative.
