I enjoyed Aunt Meg's character in "Sandpeople" by Cheryl Kerr. Her contrast in personality from her sister's character only enhanced the story's telling. At first, Aunt Meg's demeanor seemed to increase Lea's anxiety and loneliness about being left with her aunt while her parents sorted out their separation toward divorce. Yet, it also forced her to become more independent and confident as she solved the mystery of the ghost child.

Aunt Meg's contrasting character in "Sandpeople" by Cheryl Kerr added depth to the story. Initially causing Lea anxiety, her presence ultimately fostered independence and confidence as Lea unraveled the ghost child mystery.

Aunt Meg’s character forced Lea to break out of her shell, explore, and become fierce. I liked Aunt Meg’s character. She is a no-nonsense person minding her own business who focuses only on exploring her artistic passion.

Hi!

I loved Meg's character. She lived alone by a beach and art was her life. When Lea showed up for the summer, it was new experience for her to relate to Lea who was almost a teenager. That summer Lea and her aunt learned valuable lessons of a lifetime.
