Yes, it has changed. A lot in the entrepreneurial culture stems from the same basics as over a hundred of years. However, the method of doing things have significantly evolved over time thereby resulting in a change in the culture.

America's entrepreneurial culture has undergone a significant evolution over the years. There is an increased Valuation of Risk-Taking. Today, the willingness to take risks and try new ideas is widely celebrated and valued in American culture. This change is in contrast to the past when stability and conformity were more highly prized.

The biggest shift I see in entrepreneurial culture over the years is a rising diversity, not only in the types of small businesses created but in the profile of the individuals who create them. The main reason is access to capital. It was difficult for almost anyone who wasn’t a white male to get a loan on good terms.
