Throughout the book, the author's meticulous investigation and interactions with local figures create a sense of suspense and intrigue. This ongoing narrative thread contributes to the overall enjoyment of the story.

The unexpected use of Pidgin English by the author to deter a tout at the airport is a memorable and humorous scene. This unexpected linguistic maneuver adds a layer of authenticity and wit to the narrative.

The unpleasant hotel manager gave Spradlin an expensive imported cigar, which he graciously accepted. One of my favorite scenes is when he gives the cigar to his driver, and he saves it. Later they take a break after coming through many dangers together, and the driver smokes the cigar. It signifies a solid bond of friendship between the two men that goes beyond their business relationship.

My favourite moment was the description of the period of political unrest in nigeria. I got to seemingly understand what went through those times. It was an important piece of historical information

What I liked most was when Nwando realized she was finally free. Her story was so sad, and I felt relieved that she got a happy ending.

Thomas Richard Spradlin's "Quest: Finding Freddie" is an engrossing inquiry into Nigerian politics and society that includes incidents with Mrs. Larsson of the Swedish embassy, bar fights, Nwando's liberation, and broken language. The way that Spradlin uses pidgin English is remarkable.

According to others' feedback and remarks, I was expecting to be most impressed by the author's effort to learn and authentically include pidgin language in the book, which was indeed a highlight for me.

This is likely to be noted frequently, but Nwando's freedom and the bar fight involving Snake and Junior were thrilling. The events surrounding Mrs. Larsson from the Swedish embassy surprised me somewhat, but they definitely kept me on the edge of my seat.

My favorite part of the book was when Freddie’s driver got some inside information to whom he can talk to that saw Freddie at the time of his disappearance. Things started getting even more interesting from then on.

There were a lot of exciting moments in the book but my favorite one was when Nwado realized she was free, she had gone through a lot and I was happy for her to finally have a good ending.

My favorite moment in the book was when the long-lost Freddie was finally found, allowing him to reunite with his wife and family. It was a powerful and emotional scene that truly emphasized the importance of hope and perseverance.
