Lingering Questions?

Post by Maria Bardis »

Did the book provide a satisfying resolution to the mystery of Freddie's disappearance, or are you left with unanswered questions? If so, what aspects of the case remain unclear, and what additional information would you have liked to have seen explored?

I loved Ruth's comment at the end of the book. It was both sarcastic and satisfying.

I was satisfied with the ending. All through the book, I was terrified that Freddy would be found dead, if at all. A very engaging book. It did pique my interest to do some research on the history of the area and I learnt a lot I was not aware of.

Not really, my only question would be based on the notion the author gave that Nigeria was in hostile and complex relation against the Jewish state around 1976. Aside that, I think the ending was fair

I think that the ending was fine, having thought all along that Freddie was dead.

The ending was satisfying and answered all my questions about the situation. It did seem to go on for too long after its resolution, but other than that it was a pretty solid ending. I was worried about Richard being double crossed at the end and was very happy that everything worked out and Freddie was ok.

I would be curious to read an epilogue of sorts to find out what happened with some of the characters. Did Nwanga and Bosede get married? How was the wedding for Peter and Aisha? What is Chima up to?

No lingering questions until I can get my hand on a copy of this book and read it. I really do hope it satisfies my curiosity and meets my expectations.

The author discusses Nigeria's complex relationship with the Jewish state in 1976, and the ending is fair and satisfying. The story ends with Richard's double crossing, but the reader is happy with Freddie's safety.

I was satisfied with the turn out of events and how the mystery of Freddie's disappearance was uncovered.

Hi!

I do not have any major lingering questions. I thought the story was well-written and the characters personalities were well developed. All the facts of the story tied in perfectly. After reading this book, I developed favorite characters in the book. Chima was one of my favorites! I have one minor question....do you think there can be a sequel to this book?

Needless to say, I enjoyed the ending to the book.I had some fears but this is because I thought that Freddie  was  dead. I found that book to be very interesting indeed, and that has given me the desire to learn more about the history of the area.
