Interesting response! Is that to say that you connected well with Spradlin's character in the book?

Thanks for the reply and have a nice day!

I was able to relate most with the author due to his ability to cooperate with people of different race to uncover the mystery.

Hi!

In the book Quest: Finding Freddie, I have many favorite characters. However, I will choose the main character Richard. I choose Richard because I love the way he relates to other people. He received what he wanted from others by giving them money. Richard made many friends in this manner. I am sure this type of influence was great!

I identified most with the author because of his ability to work with people of different races to solve the mystery.

I found myself relating to 'Snake' at the time. I mean, the guy was just trying to hustle to survive out there. Got caught up in a mess, and found himself in the wrong line of business. And he had the pay the price in the end. Seemed relatable to how so many of us take risks every day, and how we occasionally make bad decisions that might take a few years off of our life. Mess with the snake and ya get bit. Ya know?

I related more to Richard. This might be because he's the main character and the story is told through his perspective. Hence, I couldn't help but feel what he felt, think what he thought, and gradually understood him, even anticipating his next move.

I will say Chima, Richard’s supervisor. He was very calm and I also like the fact that he was trustworthy and honest.

Yea, he was pretty determined throughout the story. Surprisingly adaptive to the cultural setting he was surrounded by, be it in his use of dash, his linguistic adaptation, or in his ability to investigate the location of Freddie.

Great story. Thanks for sharing!

Well, I would say that Richard was the character I related to the most. Despite knowing the dangers associated with going to Nigeria at the point in time, he went ahead to do so. I loved his character.

I admire Ruth. She was willing to do whatever it took to get Freddie home safely. Several hints indicate that she's used to her money talking, but when Spradlin meets the receptionist, he realizes that the employees in the company love Ruth and Freddie. She is rich, yes, but she is also a nice person.

This is a pretty thoughtful response. Thank you for sharing, and I agree. Ruth was always quite passionate for Freddie throughout the story, suggesting a real intimate bond. Certainly a relatable quality in terms of relationships and loved ones.

I chose Richard because I admire how he interacts with others. He got what he wanted from people by giving them money, and this helped him make many friends. I believe this type of influence was very effective.
