It was Trisha. I was not a big fan of her night life though but I loved how confident she was. She became a rock for Vanessa.

Sister Rosalie was my favourite character. I thought she was amusing and full of character. Her relationship with Vanessa is the most believable in the book.

Trisha was my favorite character. She was a best friend indeed. She didn't care about her racial differences with Vanessa or racial differences with anyone at all. She was also there when Vanessa needed her most.

Sister Rosalie was, without a doubt, my favorite character in the book. She was a force to be reckoned with - a larger-than-life figure who commanded respect and inspired awe. Her unwavering confidence and unshakeable faith in her values made her a compelling and admirable presence. She had a remarkable ability to prioritize what truly mattered, never getting bogged down by trivial concerns. Instead, she focused on serving a higher purpose, dedicating herself to God and to the care and well-being of the orphans under her guidance.

My favorite character was definitely Sister Rosalie. She is loving, compassionate, and funny. Her fixation on South Carolina history and ability to memorize so many obscure facts is quite impressive.

Sister Rosalie is a character who stands out because of her vibrant, unapologetic personality. Even though she lives in a world that seeks to marginalise her as a Black woman, she holds on to her sense of humor and individuality. She refuses to let the weight of societal oppression take away her true self. Her sharp wit and quirky nature offer moments of light in the midst of the story’s more darker themes. In a world that often tries to break her down, Sister Rosalie's ability to stay grounded in who she is—a woman full of life, humor, and resilience—is inspiring. She shows that, no matter the challenges, we can find a way to thrive by staying true to who we are.

My favorite character in the book is Sister Rosalie. She loved history, and her retentive memory was very sharp, as she could recite the least known facts about a figure from the past, in a flash, without hesitation. She had a big heart for orphans.
