At first glance without any knowledge of the content, I did not comprehend the cover. I didn't think the title and cover matched. But the cover did catch my attention. After reading the book the cover makes complete sense. I think the bridge is at an awkward angle and the certificate should have been more of the focal point.

At first glance the book cover really doesn't make any notable impression. But on second thought, I think it's minimalistic nature is quite fitting for the book title.

I liked the cover a lot, it drew me to the book initially. Of course, it only made sense once starting to read the book, but it was interesting to get to the parts about the stolen identity and the San Fran bridge and excitedly realize those were on the cover.

The cover of the book was not all that. I loved the fact that it was simple but I think it needed to be more complex. Overall, it was a very good cover photo, just that it could have been better.

I am originally from the City of Bridges, so bridges always enthrall me. This cover did a great job of visualizing the book title. I felt calm, yet eerily unsettled as well.

I looked the cover of this book although this could be an aspect of a book i pay so much attention to. This cover of this book was beautiful and quite unpredictable.

I felt that the cover of this book was rather off putting. The book cover was a dull display of a bridge which had nothing to do with the books name or plot.

I really like the book cover, and it was one of the reasons I decided to buy it. Some important elements of the story are reflected in the design. The background evokes the setting of the novel, and the overall calmness of the cover makes you wonder what might be deceptive about it. In this way, the cover effectively captures the essence of the novel.

I think the cover comes off more of a mystery instead of romance. I like the choice to highlight the bridge as the only color on the cover.

The cover of the book reflects the name. It is calm in a deceptive way that lures me in. Magnificent

I was initially intrigued by the cover of this book. I love the historical fiction genre and this book indicated a historical element with the birth certificate and the black and white background photo. The "unknown" portions of the birth certificate also indicate a mystery and I was very interested to learn how this connected to the story. After reading the blurb about the book, I was immediately interested to continue reading and have enjoyed the book so far!

I have to say, I quite liked the book cover. It was one of the reasons I decided to buy it. Some key elements of the story are reflected on the cover—the birth certificate hints at Vanessa’s unknown origins and Sister Rosalie raising her, tying into the theme of stolen identity. The background also captures the novel’s setting. There's a sense of calm in the cover, which makes you wonder what might be deceptive. Overall, it represents the novel well.

The minimalistic design, light color scheme, and elegant font create a calm yet foreboding atmosphere, making the reader curious about what lies behind the calm exterior. The inclusion of a birth certificate layered behind the bridge adds a personal and potentially secretive element, suggesting that identity and hidden truths may play a central role in the narrative.

Oh my! I love the cover of this book. I think it's one of the best I've seen, of the books of the month. The cover made me want to know more about the book, before the description hooked me. I didn't even notice the birth certificate on the cover until I read about it in the book.
