The book is really great and I really loved all the characters. Yes, they did seem well developed to me. However, they also seemed to be bound by some unseen boundaries. I loved the characters but I think they could have been done better.

The well-developed characters are what makes reading this book interesting. The characters are human, sensitive, and sensible too.

In my opinion, the important characters were well developed with a robust background story. Although, I expected a little bit from Vanessa's background story, however, what is available is enough to enjoy the book.

The characters were very developed. It shouldn't even be asked. The character development was one of the best things about the book.

I think so far I found no character lacking any background detail. I think the characters were well developed.

Sister Roe and the Doctors, Hale and Davies, were perfectly developed. Their pasts were also discussed to understand their characterist development better.

I felt like the characters were well developed. I knew exactly who they were. I could picture Sister Rosalie in my head!

In my opinion, the main characters were well-developed. The author gave us enough information for us to picture them as we are reading and to get attached to them.
The secondary characters were not well-developed, but for me it's okay. I still enjoyed the book.

I really liked the way the characters were developed! I could imagine how they looked as I read the book and it is very important for me to get involved in the story.

I love the character development in the book. The role Sister Rosalie played in the upbringing of Vanessa is also one I enjoyed too well.

On a general scale, the author did a good job with how the characters were written. But considering more could have been done with Vanessa, I feel the author could have taken advantage of this character. But yes, the characters seemed well developed.

All characters were portrayed well. The author did a very good job giving each character their time to shine. I loved this about the book.

Some are more developed than the others. Sister Roe for me was the most fleshed out character, that you know her motivations and even her quirks. Others feel very rushed or truly just came from the left field. Tod himself, his motivation for pursuing Vanessa, his 180 degree turn on behavior, etc just is very baffling since the author just seemed to correlate it to being extremely rich, a playboy, or with evil parents.
