My Review of Deceptive Calm

Deceptive Calm pulls you in and right back to a time I am glad is in the past down south! I enjoyed the cast of characters, especially the two main best friends Trishia and Vanessa! I had a bit of confusion at one point with me thinking I was reading about Vanessa's career start that turned out to be Trishia yet, I caught on quick enough. I could have done without the sex scenes and one was brutal that might trigger some. Regardless, I enjoy the story and was glad of the ending! An author I would read again!
