It appears that submitting a review on Amazon will require me to wait a week before it gets published, as Amazon now reviews everything submitted. However, I still need to send the link to the review, even though their approval process is taking longer than I expected. Did anyone else had to go through this process???

I am not to that stage in the process yet, but that is discouraging to hear. My other book reviews for Amazon have not required a week until they are published. I wonder if this is brand new?

I submitted an Amazon review, and it was approved very quickly. It didn't take a week.

My review went live on November 8th, so it was 4 days, as they said about 4 to 8 days. I’m glad it was finally able to be published. Previously, reviews weren't checked, but it’s something new to verify you purchased the item and that it follows the rules.

Sometimes Amazon could delay publication of comment if one review a product. And it can also go live almost immediately.

Wow, I didn't know!!! They just told me to expect to wait a bit, but that was my first review of 2024. The last time I reviewed was back in 2020, so it makes sense they had me wait a bit. Anyways thanks for letting me know.

I was able to see my review and get a link to it, even though it isn't published yet. I clicked on my profile and went to a tab that said my reviews, I believe, and the review was there with an option to copy the link. I found the instructions on Google. They were very easy to follow.

I think some take long but in my case, it was approved quickly.

Every review for Amazon, in my experience, came back approved within a day. One time, there was something wrong, probably on the entering of the book in the first place, as it had only 1 review. I wrote mine, and it showed 2 reviews but my review was not visible. It took 3-4 chats to explain and they promised it would be corrected ASAP and I also kept OBC there was something wrong and finally 2 weeks and it appeared.

If you submit your Amazon review immediately your review is published, Amazon would have posted the review before the moderators ask for the link.

It doesn't usually take that long. They will email you when it is complete.

The time it takes for Amazon to approve (or reject) your review can vary from almost instantly to never. I've found that if it's been more than a week, it won't be processed unless you contact customer service. They'll SAY it's still in the queue and they'll get to it as soon as they can (boilerplate answer), but then it will be magically approved within 24 hours of your chat with them. (After a week, if you don't contact them, assume it's lost in their system.)

My Amazon review did not take long to be vetted and published. It only took a few days.
