Book Ending

Post by Chantelle Johnson »

Awesome book but never like the ending. To me a book is supposed to be completed by providing an ending to the characters stories. At least the epilogue should consist of that. There were good stories in this book and I was hooked. I even got the audible and listened when I got 2 tired to read just to meet the end that I did. Very disappointing and it sounds like I'm complaining but I hope other persons on here can relate.

I definitely relate to that. It just seemed abrupt. I was still trying to scroll down to read more.

I also agree that the book ended abruptly. I feel like the entire final portion of the book was rushed and almost hurriedly thrown together to meet a page count. I would’ve like to have seen Vanessa thriving and successful after all that happened to her. This ending felt very anticlimactic in comparison.

I am also in agreement on the abrupt ending to the book. There was quite a bit of detail up until that point. The anti-climatic ending left me wanting to know more. After all that Vanessa went through in her journey to become a successful career woman, to have everything end so abruptly without finishing her story was a bit frustrating. I would like to know how she rose above this latest obstacle and I would also like to know what happened to her son.

I thought I must have been missing a chapter or two at the end of this book. I was so ready to write a near 5 star review until that abrupt finish. There is no way that "happy" ending was realistically lasting for anyone.
