The main theme of this book appear to be about perseverance and hard work. Through the author, I learned not to be quick to throw in the towel on the things I want. Many nos may eventually make a yes.

The lesson I learnt from "Odyssey of High Hopes A Memoir of Adversity and Triumph by Cyrus A. Ansary" is to never give up. No matter how hard things may appear just keep plugging along.

Adversity and triumph. As written in the book title. What ever adversity you face in life, never give up. Keep fighting with all you have. And ypu would be triumphant in the end.

The power of Hope and Courage and the value of Hard Work and Perseverance to achieve the goals despite tremendous negative factors and hardships.

One lesson I learned from this book is the never give up spirit of Cyrus.

I learned that it is important to keep a good attitude and to rely on your ideas to motivate you. When failure happens, get right up and go on it is also a lesson I learned.

The lesson that I learned from the book is not to give up or try to quit. I must always remain resolute in all situations. The perseverance of the character in the book is all that excites me. That is astonishing.

The fact that his father encouraged the children to make good grades and to work to be and entrepreneurs for their career helped each one.

I really enjoyed and loved this book it thought me a lot about perseverance, resilience and taking actions to reach one goals. I admired the way young Cyrus had set his mind to a goal and did not stop until he saw it through.

I learnt that some people have the tenacity to overcome hardship and achieve a fulfilling and happy life. I thought Cyrus and his family were incredible in what they managed to achieve. However, I felt Cyrus was exceptionally intelligent and talented and most people aren't blessed with his attributes.
