This is a beautiful argument, and it aligns with a deeply human perspective on life. If life’s purpose is love, it suggests that our most meaningful moments and connections are grounded in kindness, compassion, and the bonds we share. This viewpoint shifts our focus from purely individual pursuits to valuing empathy, relationships, and service to others. It also resonates with various spiritual, philosophical, and even psychological perspectives, highlighting love as essential for personal fulfillment and well-being.

I am not a muse.
I am the somebody."

We all need and crave love from the moment that we are born to the moment that we die. When we are born and helpless we need unselfish love to nurture us. As we become independent, loneliness can become the worst feeling in the world. If we isolate ourselves or are isolated, we will feel the torment of having no love. So yes, love is the purpose of life.

If there is no love, hate will prevail. A hateful world wouldn't survive. The purpose of life should be love. An all encompassing love. Only then we can achieve the true purpose of life. It’s like a cycle - live to love and love to live.

I speak for myself: basis the soul searching I have done so far about the purpose of my life, my reason for it and being here is love. To understand the variations of love, the ways I can provide love and enrich lives, and make a difference.
In my humble opinion, love is the center of our being. Without love, there would have been no growth, no advancement no synergies. Come to think of it, man's basic needs are a culmination of love, add to it that man is a social animal. Without love, we would have just been savage animals.

The specific purpose of life, in my opinion, is existence itself. Love as a purpose does not correspond to a primordial fact because the life values of each individual vary according to the realities of each person, life experience and level of consciousness.

The significance of love in life is emphasized throughout the novel. I think love is the reason we are linked to one other. Because we happen to love and be loved, we wish to blend in with our culture and the larger community.

Personally, I agree with this. Life can't exist without love; evil would definitely destroy the world. God created the world out of love.

I think that saying love is the purpose of life is incredibly reductive and overly simplistic. It sounds like a catchy little tagline. I personally disagree. I don't think God created people and everything in the world out of love. I think humans are especially motivated by love of self, others, possessions, and skills, but that is not necessarily the purpose of life. It's definitely possible, though, for people to view love as the sole purpose of their lives.

I believe love is what humanity is made for. I believe love fulfills us as human being. We need love. We need the warmth and affection, the social connection, the sharing and caring.

Without love, life would not continue to exist. As human beings we are made out of love to love and be loved by others. We are also imperfect so this is not always lived out well, but that doesn’t change that we were made for love.

The argument that love is the purpose of life, as presented in “Advent of Time,” aligns with various psychological studies indicating that strong social connections and love contribute significantly to human happiness. Research shows that relationships enhance well-being, suggesting a profound link between love and life’s fulfillment. That's why many people are always searching for a romantic partner to make them feel whole.

I think it is not true. Life does not exist for the purpose of love; instead, love is an essential element to better someone's life. There are different purposes in a single life. Love can't be a specific purpose to exist life.

I think the argument has merit, but isn’t anything that hasn’t been written before.
