I like the sense of adventure and exploration in the artwork. It's also cute that Pele is there, since he ends up being a vital asset from beginning to end!

I like the book cover. It is a little bit mysterious. The artwork gives you the sense that the two children are going down an unknown path but we cannot know what that path will be unless we read the book. The book summary, however, suprised me because at first I did not connect it to the artwork in the book cover. Nevertheless, a good cover indeed.

I like the book cover and how colorful it is. I like that the story behind the cover of the book is explained in the book. I also liked how pictures were shown throughout the book to give the reader an image of what they're reading.

I liked the cover, I think it will attract its target audience, as well as appeal to adults. It's colorful, juvenile and friendly. I do not feel it matches the title, but covers are not supposed to exactly match titles.

The book cover should two young children exploring what looks like a cake or tunnel, with one holding a lantern, while an animal lurks in the background. It shows bravery, curiosity, danger. The cover is also colorful though while looking like a raw art. I assert that it's quite inviting.

I think the art on the book brings in a deep sense of mystery and looks almost like a portal to another world. It makes me want to know where they are going. especially with the appearance of them walking on a log

The cover of this book has me intrigued to know more about this story. The illustration style of the cover image works well as the intended audience of this book is children.

I like the cover; it is very eye-catching with the way the children seem to be sneaking out at night looking for trouble. It gives a playful and mysterious vibe, especially with the dark background and the vivid illustrations.

The book cover and title certainly draws attention. The image of the boys looks a bit like the title and I definitely wanted to know why it was so.
