In my opinion, the characters were quite stagnant. As much as they were, there was no room for development

The character development is okay for a children's book.

As it's stated as kids book, so the development process took slow and felt sufficient for the book format.

I really enjoyed the character development. I do think some characters were more developed than others. We learned more about Aiyasha and Elah than any of the other characters.

In Dumb Orphans: The Bundu Bunch Trilogy by Allan Low, the character development is both engaging and heartfelt. Each orphan is portrayed with distinct personalities and growth arcs, allowing readers to connect deeply with their individual journeys. The narrative effectively showcases their resilience and camaraderie as they navigate challenges, making their development both realistic and inspiring.
