The cover is a beautiful painting that grabs the attention instantly with two adorable kids who appear to be on an eager adventure. As they are holding a light, maybe they are following the water into the dark probing the danger with their curiosity. Or it depicts what they may have to go through daily for their survival. It appears lovely and on a closer look seems to hold deeper meaning.

I love the cover and the illustration it depicts. Very apt at what the book title is about Dumb orphans .Two children going on an adventure into the African terrain with dangers lurking .The illustration is beautiful.

The cover is great and eye catching with its cartoonish drawing of the boys. Even if it is too simplistic for the age group.

I agree with you about the appropriateness of the cover for the age group. I do like the graphics, but the appeal of the cover is for younger children.

I like the simple, colourful drawing on the cover, which I think represents the story well. I also like the black-and-white drawings that appear throughout the book.

Id say it’s kind of funny when paired with the title. Two people walking into a tunnel that seems to have been carved by something extraordinary. Yes, that’s a bit dumb
